Resurgence of the Smoking Slipper
Posted by Caitlin Mann on March 5, 2012 · 1 Comment
Originally designed for the Victorian gentleman’s smoking room, the smoking slipper has reemerged recently as one of the hottest shoe styles for both men and women, attracting the attention of designers from J.Crew to Christian Louboutin. Even though these phenomenal loafers may all have the same shape and basic elements, they are anything but ordinary. They can go from sleek and sophisticated to rebellious and edgy with just their designer’s imagination and they bring a real kick to any outfit.
