FILTER Magazine’s 10th Annual Coachella Party presented by Aerie
One thing we learned about Coachella is that it’s just as much about the parties as it is about the music. Thursday is the night of pre-festival shindigs.
With #yolo in mind, we pulled it together after our tiring day of travel, and outfitted ourselves for the Filter Magazine party, and boy are we glad we did! It was a little tricky finding the actual destination, but the venue, The Corona Yacht Club, was a glorious one. We thoroughly enjoyed picking out complimentary colorful bras and panties from sponsor Aerie, sipping on cups of whiskey and gettin’ weird in the Miller Photobooth (a riot).

The pop-up shop Aerie set up.

With our full Aerie swag bags!

The cute Aerie rep snapped this candid of us. Why does Lesley look grumpy? Because it was cold. But whisky and vodka sweet teas soon solved that problem.

Paulina, Celby, ad Lucy lounging around.

A lovely trio ladies on the patio.

Paulina's neon nails in the black light.

Sniped a shot of awesome glitter platform sneakers. DIY?

Lots of great style on the dance floor.
Soon after arriving, Oh Land graced the scene with her angelic voice. Her live performance really was fantastic – she twirled and whirled around the stage as if in a dream as white lights glowed behind her like a halo.
Next up was Rye Rye, an adorably ‘lil cutie with a killer body and a knack for moving. We really enjoyed rocking to her single “Boom Boom.”

Oh Land posed for us. She was the sweetest.
Oh Land has fantastic style – a definite minimalism with a quirky industrial twist. She told us she wore an Acne jacket, Opening Ceremony boots, and an antler crown made by her friend
And then we found Aaron Paul. (#BreakingBad). Doesn’t get much better from there.
And to think, Coachella hadn’t even officially started yet.
We arrived back at The Riviera, our bodies exhausted but our minds racing at the greatness to come.
Best party ever. Thanks Filter Magazine & Aerie!!
XOXO
